It's an osteospermum. (Doesn't that name conjure up all kinds of lovely images?) Anyway, I have to confess that this is one of the photos where digital image manipulation saved me. The thing is many of the flowers look dull in photos, even with the new camera. So I do up the saturation slightly, but just to make it look as vibrant as it is in real life.
Usually I use photos from other Flickristas I'm drawn to but today, just my own growing pictures. I love seeing them all together like this!
