I finished decorating my tree, made Ariana and I hot cinnamon cider and loaded wood into the house for the fireplaces.

I too, spent the past few days with dear friends. Last night my family and I spent the evening with a lovely couple over a southern comfort meal. Everything simple and hearty yet delicious. We watched as Ariana opened two gifts and listened to music. Over several nice glasses of wine (and a very hearty beer I am told), we played chess and mancala into the wee hours of the night. Because it is the holiday (and we had been drinking) we thought it best just to stay over. So we settled in for the night. I can only heartily agree that it is being with friends and loved ones that make it worth it, even the gloomy, dreary days which tell me that I too am blessed.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11345189023570031434noreply@blogger.com
